About Jerry Kruse Construction

Growing up as the son of a construction company owner, Bob Kruse, Jerry became involved in home construction at a young age. From his years of experience, Jerry doesn't know just one area such as siding or roofing; he knows the workings of the entire house. From his father, Jerry believes in the importance of quality construction. His motto is "when close enough doesn't cut it." What that means to him is that the job should be done right and done right the first time around. When a company cuts corners to improve their own bottom line, it is the homeowner that pays for it in quality.

Jerry started his own business in 1987. Being a local company, Jerry Kruse has a hometown work ethic that has made his business very successful. He primarily relies on word of mouth, not salesman tactics, to expand his client base, allowing his workmanship to speak for itself.

When you call Jerry Kruse Construction, expect personalized service. Jerry will manage your project from the inital call to the final inspection of the work. That is how he ensures that the quality is up to his standards. Trust an experienced, local company for your next home remodeling undertaking.

Jerry Kruse

I was referred to Kruse Construction by a friend after receiving storm damage on my home in the summer of 2008. After many phone calls and disagreements with my insurance company, I went to Jerry for assistance and advice. Jerry did a thorough inspection of the entire exterior of my home including the deck, roof and siding. The damage estimated by the insurance company did not even come close to an accurate assessment. Jerry reviewed all the storm damage with me first hand including pictures, replacement cost estimates, etc. He then worked with the insurance company directly alleviating me of the difficult task of trying to prove the amount of actual storm damage sustained on my home.

Jerry was extremely knowledgeable and professional in working with my insurance company to get the damages replaced and fixed in a timely manner. The insurance company continued to try and deny coverage but Jerry was persistent and accurate in his findings. He supervised the construction replacements closely and made recommendations to me for improvements throughout the entire process. Jerry made sure the job site was very clean at the end of every day and kept his word on timelines and a quality job well done. If not for Kruse Construction, I would have never obtained the insurance replacements required to fix all the damage.

We have known Jerry Kruse for almost twenty years. We first met him when he and his father did a significant remodel of our home in Sunfish Lake. A few years later, he helped to build a barn at our property in Welch. We suspect that this is the first traditional barn that anyone in this region has built in many years. Despite the novelty of the task, he and his father created a showcase structure that continues to be beautiful and functional. Nine years ago, Jerry and his father built our new home in Welch. The quality is excellent, and Jerry pays attention to detail.

Most recently, Jerry and his crew did major repairs to our siding, roof, and windows following the July, 2008 storm. In fact, Jerry contacted us the day of the storm to determine whether we needed any immediate repairs. Jerry is rightly proud of all the work he has done for us and for others. We recommend him for new construction and remodeling without any hesitation.

Gerald Kruse of Kruse Construction was the successful bidder on a contract to replace all 12 roofs for our Townhouse Association. The workmanship was excellent and Mr. Kruse was very easy and cooperative to work with. We would not hesitate to hire Kruse Construction in the future.

Thank you so very much for putting our home back right after the destruction done to it from the August 13th tornado. We are forever grateful to you for going to bat for us with the insurance company, your carpentry skills, your organization skills, for keeping your word and staying on the job until it was done. Thank you just seems inadequate, we are forever grateful.
